SouthBridge A&I is proud to announce the signing, on Monday August 15, 2022, of the Gender Diversity Charter developed by the organization Women Working for Change (WFC), endorsing its commitment to gender equality.
This charter sets out SouthBridge A&I's commitments to the four principles of gender equality in the workplace:
Gender diversity in recruitment
Fair compensation
Mixed management and executive committee
Mixed Board of Directors
As a result, since 2017, almost 1 in 2 new hires has been a woman, and leadership is at perfect parity, with a highly advanced flexibility policy and dedicated training, to encourage female careers.
The subject is also at the heart of SouthBridge A&I's work on a number of levels. On the one hand, our grants for social projects all include a gender approach. Secondly, SouthBridge A&I is supporting the Moroccan government in the development of its social economy strategy, a sector in which women's entrepreneurship and employment are central. SouthBridge A&I has also recently been honored to support UN Women in promoting financing for gender equality among Moroccan financial institutions.
