Less than two years after its first fundraising round of 2 MDH from WITAMAX, start-up KONTA™, a pioneer in supplier spend digitization, raises 1.15 MUSD (i.e. 12 MDH) from investment fund Azur Innovation Fund.
Since its creation at the end of 2019 by Issam Dahman, Mehdi Zirari and El Arbi Aboussouror, KONTA ™ has gone from strength to strength, offering a reliable, easy-to-use platform for controlling supplier spend from end to end.
Following the example of international nuggets specializing in the “Purchase to Pay” segment, KONTA™ develops functionalities that break away from the traditional processing path, hitherto managed by corporate finance departments.
Thanks to its SaaS model, KONTA™ has won over several SMEs and large corporations on the Moroccan market, but also in West Africa and Europe.
KONTA™'s first round of funding enabled it to develop elaborate features to standardize and internationalize its product.
This new round of funding from Azur Innovation Fund aims to accelerate growth both nationally and internationally. It will also strengthen the positioning of KONTA™ to offer companies other levers for financial performance.
The founders of KONTA™ and their investors are confident about the future, and already intend to begin their quest for a Series A.
